Bar owners are what make Golden Gai a unique area. Without them, the bars would be closed, no customers would come, and the streets would be empty. They contribute to creating the atmosphere of Golden Gai by providing a space where the people can mingle, regardless of their occupations, social status, and appearance. This page will look into how exactly the bar owners are able to create such space in the busy streets of Tokyo.
It has been claimed that consumers do not seek products and services as such, but rather the positive experiences these may yield. It is the bar owner’s job to provide such a special atmosphere that customers can enjoy.
