What is Fashion Health?

Fashion health refers to the place where customers can receive basic services except honnban. Fashion health probably has the longest history of all the businesses and the characteristic is that the service and the options widely varies by the store. Yet, there are recently decreasing number of “stored-type” fashion health in Japan because the regulation changed in Japan to ban making new “stored-typed” fahion health since there were too many of them. The image club, which of those are observed in the research, are also one of the types of fashion health. It refers to the fashion health that has specific concepts where customers can role play the favorite situation depending on their preferences with girls working there . This research will only focus on fashion health and image clubs, which of those mostly had the “stored-typed” business that had signboards of the store.

Where is Fashion Health?

The green marks on the map are where we can find fashion health in Kabuki-Cho. Compared to other businesses, there are relatively a lot of fashion health businesses in Kabuki-Cho. However, compared to normal fashion health, there were fewer image clubs in Kabuki-cho. As is explained above, it is probably because there are currently decreasing number of “store-typed” health business in Japan.
